The Seniors Connect Centre is a place for adults aged 55 years or older that promotes independence, personal enrichment and an enhanced quality of life through social engagement.
Programs and activities focusing on social inclusion, health and wellness are provided free of charge. The centre is wheelchair accessible and has a wheelchair accessible bathroom.
The Seniors Connect Centre also offers outreach services, access to information and referrals to connect seniors with other programs and services in the community that may be of particular interest to those experiencing social isolation.
Programming for Seniors by Seniors
Many of the workshop facilitators are seniors and elders. All of our volunteers are 55+. We encourage individuals who have a program idea to connect with us to explore the possibility of creating a workshop at the centre.
Hours of Operation
The centre is staffed five days per week between 9am and 4pm.
Drop In Times
Seniors may drop in from 10am to 3pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Socially engage with other older adults; join into a game of cards, enjoy a cup of tea and make new friends.
